Basic Training
Tom will be offering several "INTRO" photography training courses for small groups in the near future. Although directed at Canon EOS DSLR Camera users they will be pertinent for users of other models such as Nikon and Fuji. The courses will include:
Photography for Beginners, Photoshop Elements, Slideshow and DVD Production.
Bought a Digital Camera - Confused, Cannot Understand the Manual?
Have you bought one of the small consumer digital cameras in the belief that it does every operation for you including reading the manual only to find that it is confusing and frustrating. Before you confine the camera to the drawer or a cupboard at home, why not make an appointment and treat yourself to a one to one session with Tom.
On offer now are training and support sessions for the everyday photographer where Tom will explain how the camera works and how to operate the controls. You do not need to have an ambition to be a professional but you can improve your photography and enjoy the results. Contact Tom, you will enjoy the session.
"The Studio Experience"
A Studio Lighting Training Course for Beginners
Turn snapshots into Studio Portraits.
The Studio Experience is designed especially for the photographer who wishes to enjoy the probably once in a lifetime photographic experience of working in a studio with a model, or who would like learn the basics of studio lighting and to improve his/her skills of portrait photography.
The training courses are informal and fun as well as informative.
These training courses are held on one or two day courses at weekends at Tom's studio in Wallsend, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear with a maximum of four participants.
If required the course can be arranged for groups of four over 4 sessions to be held on evenings or Saturday mornings.

Prospective Models
If you are interested in photographic modelling but have no or limited experience, Tom can offer you the opportunity to try photographic modelling by inviting you to take part in our In-House Training Sessions where we practice and experiment with different lighting set ups and cameras. You will meet other models and learn the basic skills at the same time you will find out if you enjoy it and are suited to the work.
There is no payment for this although models receive free prints that can go towards or complete their portfolio. Successful models may be offered paid work on the "The Studio Experience" training courses.

There is no Glamour/nude modelling involved.
