Welcome to Tom Charlton Photography.

Tom Charlton is a professional freelance photographer based in Northumberland, interested in all aspects of social and commercial photography.

Although inspired by the rugged beauty of landscapes, castles, stately homes and gardens throughout Northumberland and the North East, industrial scenes are also an enjoyable challenge.

A specialist in portrait photography, he has a well equipped studio in Wallsend, Newcastle [directions] and a mobile studio available by appointment.

Tom offers a variety of basic photography training courses especially for users of Canon and other DSLR cameras. He also offers 'The Studio Experience' - a studio portrait lighting courses for beginners and those wishing to improve their skills in portraiture.

To maintain a high quality of his service, he only uses the best materials and equipment manufactured by Canon, Elinchrom, Epsom, Fuji, Hahnemuhle, Kodak, Nikon and Lastolite. All framing and materials are sourced locally where ever possible.

Tom is proud to be a member of Aurora Creative Arts, The Royal Photographic Society and Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers & British Professional Photographers Associates.

Tom is CRB checked and can provide a copy of his disclosure form for examination. He operates to a strict code of conduct in all aspects of his work and will provide a copy of the company Code of Conduct to customers on request.
